POCKET CUTTERS
A range of two flute cutters with extra length shanks for deep grooving and mortising.
These long cutters need to be used with considerable care to avoid breakage. Take many
small passes when slotting. When mortising, plunge down all over the area of the mortice,
then clean out in stages down to the full depth. All cutters have reduced necks for
clearance, except T2125½ & T2126½, which do not need it.
N.B. It is very important that the shank of these long cutters is inserted fully into the collet.
The cutters may extend through the base of the routing machine even in the fully up
position.

BOTTOM TRIM CUTTER
A range of two flute cutters which have a continuous cutting edge across the bottom. This
ensures a clean cut on the bottom of grooves, rebates etc. These cutters will give a better
finish on the bottom of cuts than a straight flute cutter. They may also be used for cutting
larger size stair housings where a parallel groove is required.

TAPER 2 FLUTE – SPLINE
A straight 2 flute cutter with 5° taper making it suitable for
machining tapered components for moulding tooling etc. A further
use for this cutter is in boat repairs where it can be used for spline
cutting when replacing caulking with a timber insert.
