GROOVERS/SLOTTERS – 8mm BORE

A range of three wing heavy duty slotting cutters for
mounting on 8mm arbors. The large diameter cutters
offer the ability to cut grooves up to 22.5mm deep
when used with a router fence. They may be used with
guide bearings, selected from the table below, to
control the depth of cut. These cutters give a fast
cutting rate and fine surface finish. Uses include
grooving, trimming, rabbeting etc.
Recommended speed for these cutters is 16,000 rpm.
N.B. These groovers will need an arbor to mount them
on, as they are not supplied with an arbor. Any arbor
which suits 8mm bore cutters will be satisfactory.

ARBORS FOR 8mm BORE CUTTERS

A range of arbors to suit the 8mm bore arbor mounting slotters above. They are available in 8mm, 3/8"
and 1/2" shank sizes. More than one cutter may be mounted on the arbor to produce the cutting width
required. It is not advisable to use more than one cutter on the 8mm shank arbor.
The arbor is supplied with spacers but additional spacers and shim sets are also available.
N.B. THE ARBOR IS SUPPLIED COMPLETE WITH A SET OF SPACERS.
