HANDRAIL CUTTERS

A range of two flute bearing guided cutters for cutting
the finger grip moulding on handrails. The cutters
when used in conjunction with the T1372½ (below) or
T1375B½ (page 15) will cut a traditional handrail
moulding. It is also possible to produce easing pieces
and wreaths: see the notes on page 15.

THUMB MOULD

This range of two flute 1/2" shank cutters produces a traditional elliptical profile in
two sizes. This cutter is generally used to produce decorative table top edges
with or without quirks on the top or side. The cutter may however find many other
uses for decorative profiling, including architraves, dressers etc.
The cutter is supplied with a TB501 bearing fitted, but can also be used with a
fence. Alternative bearings may be selected from the table below to produce the
varying quirk sizes. These should be ordered separately. The T1372½ cutter has
a large overall diameter and should ideally be used in a stationary machine at
approximately 12,000 to 14,000 rpm.
