TORUS BEAD

This two flute cutter produces a traditional pattern torus bead, commonly
used for skirting boards etc. The cutter is supplied with a guide bearing
to control the depth to produce a full bead.
This is a large cutter and needs to be used with care: it should preferably
be used in a fixed machine and, when cutting difficult timbers, use two
passes to achieve the full depth.

TORUS CHAMFER

This bearing-guided two flute cutter produces a torus bead combined with
a chamfer. This attractive profile will find many uses in the joinery trade
for producing skirtings, dado rails, cornice etc. The cutter is available in
three sizes, which are illustrated full size below. The largest of the cutters
should ideally be used in a fixed head machine and at a reduced speed of
approximately 15,000 rpm.
