A range of two flute cutters for vertical profiling. May

be used to produce raised panels as well as for T5212 1/2 28mm 38mm 1/2 38mm 15°
skirtings, architraves, decorative mouldings etc. The
relatively small diameter of these cutters enables T5213 – 8 30mm 38mm 8mm 38mm –
them to overcome some of the problems that occur T5213 1/2 30mm 38mm 1/2 40mm –
T5214 – 8 28mm 38mm 8mm 32mm –
with the standard design panel raising cutters.
Available in 8mm and ½" shank sizes only. T5214 1/2 28mm 38mm 1/2 40mm –
T5215 – 8 25mm 40mm 8mm 32mm 5°
N.B. This type of cutter is not suitable for producing
T5215 1/2 25mm 40mm 1/2 38mm 5°
panels with curved edges (i.e. arched top panels).

LOCK MITRE JOINTER

These two flute cutters offer a method of mitre jointing timber with a double
tongue arrangement. This locks the joint against movement and provides a
long glue line for maximum joint strength. Each cutter is suitable for use with
timber in the thickness range indicated in the table below. A router table with
fence should be used, and the accuracy of the joint is improved if the fence
has a timber face, which should be as tall as practically possible. This helps
keep the timber upright whilst the cut is being made. To produce a 90 degree
joint, one piece should be machined horizontally on the table, whilst the other
is machined vertically against the fence.
NB: T5596½ and T5598½ are large cutters. Please ensure they are suitable
for your machine. These large cutters should only be used in a fixed machine
and at 10,000 rpm maximum.
