Thumb Ovolo

A two flute 1/2" shank cutter to produce a traditional elliptical ovolo profile. This cutter is generally used for moulding skirtings and architraves etc. but is also suitable to produce decorative mouldings on table tops, dressers etc. The cutter is supplied with a bearing to give a 4mm quirk. Alternative bearings may be selected from the table (click the Optional bearings... link) to vary the quirk dimension "G". The bearing assembly may be completely removed, making the cutter suitable for panel work etc. This large cutter should be used at 16,000 rpm maximum.
