UK delivery
Standard delivery for orders under £50 in value is First Class Post. This is not a guaranteed next day service; some orders may arrive next day, but some can take longer.
Royal mail only consider an item undelivered after 10 working days. If you have received neither goods nor an acknowledgment within 10 days, you should contact us immediately.
Orders over £50 inc. VAT and up to 2kg in weight are sent carriage free to UK mainland addresses tracked, by courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery and will need to be signed for. Please advise us if you will not be available to receive the delivery. Earlier courier deliveries may be available for telephoned orders - please ask for details.
Due to the ever-increasing postal costs, orders under £50 inc VAT will be subject to a £3.60 inc VAT postal charge. Courier delivery normally arrives within 1-2days and can be selected at the check-out as an option for an additional cost.
Orders received by 3.00pm will be despatched the same day. You will be notified of any items which are not available from stock. Orders placed after 3.00pm Friday will be processed and despatched on the following Monday (excluding Bank Holidays).
SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS & OFFSHORE ISLANDS
Most deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and off-shore islands will be sent free of charge by post up to a maximum weight of 2kg. The Royal Mail Special Delivery service is also available, but the delivery times may be longer, up to 3 working days by 5.30pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Large single items, such as sawblades over 260mm diameter or heavy cutterhead blocks will be subject to an additional carriage charge, which the website will calculate.
NORTHERN IRELAND
We are not able to supply end users. A new requirement for sales to end users has been implemented by the EU and also applied by the UK. This is called GPSR regulation (general product safety regulation) which applies additional requirements on us as a supplier, including labelling and country-specific agent requirements. Although this is an EU regulation, it nevertheless applies to N. Ireland, due to the Windsor Framework agreement considering N. Ireland to be part of the EU area.
These additional requirements make it uneconomic for us and we are therefore regrettably no longer able to supply you. We apologise to our existing customers, but these changes are out of our hands.
